About This JobIf you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual, the Commercial Banking Associate role may be for you.
The Commercial Banking Associate provides support to middle and upper level Commercial Bankers and serves as a primary contact for loan portfolio issues.
You will provide support to commercial relationship and portfolio managers by preparing loan documentation, on-boarding new loans and on-going monitoring of existing loans.
You will also interact with customers daily regarding loan advances and repayments, overdraft and fraud determinations, originating account and wire transfers, and problem resolution.
Essential Functions Assist Portfolio Manager Team with preparation of credit packets Serve as the primary customer contact for loan administration issues and contact customers for updated financial information and other confidential correspondence Prepare ELARs, obtains needed approvals, and submit to Commercial Loan Servicing Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to execution Submit completed loan documentation to CLS and manage the booking process Process real estate documentation including title work, recording, and insurance Request appraisal reviews and flood letters Clear documentation exceptions Process loan advances and paydowns, account and wire transfers Coordinate new deposit account openings and closings Create and maintain loan documentation files Provide administrative support to Commercial Bankers Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required Proficient in the various systems and all loan documentation Skilled at PowerPoint, ELAR, BDEV, CRISP, Shaw, CAC, and Branch Connections Ability to develop working relationships with customers Ability to learn and leverage new technology Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve deadlines under pressure Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Associate's Degree in Business/Finance or related field preferred 2
