54 Pay Frequency Hourly Full Time / Part Time Full time Job Summary Under general supervision, assist in collaborating, designing, creating and implementing marketing plans and public awareness of the Tulsa County Parks brand through all means of communication by performing the following duties.
Job Description Essential Job Functions Assist in writing original copy and creating visuals for website and social content.
Assist in promotions, publicity and public outreach activities and special events.
Facilitate conversations with online communities.
Assist in researching current and potential trends on all media platforms.
Knowledge of video and audio pre and post production.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Possess enthusiasm to promote Tulsa County Parks Take direction, collaborate with a team, and work independently Make public presentations Plan, coordinate and implement special events Communicate effectively in writing and verbally Deal tactfully with the public Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associates of Arts (AA) Degree or related field, and over three years full-time paid employment in public relations, journalism, marketing, or relative field; or any equivalent combination of education or experience.
