Responsibilities:
The Marketing Business Analyst will work in a fast-paced, unbiased, challenging, and exciting environment.
You will partner with departments across the organization and your Marketing team members.
Under supervision, responsibilities will include but not limited to the following
Essential Functions:
Provide marketing and pricing analytical support to enhance business related decisions Contribute to monthly nomination/scheduling and monthly settlement processes as assistance to the Marketing Representatives Provide audit and royalty inquiry support and analysis on an as-needed basis Administer revenue accrual, pipeline imbalances and various other midstream and marketing related business functions and reports on a monthly recurring cycle Perform process analysis and expand control documentation Eliminate Microsoft Excel inputs and outputs and replicate and improve the same through leveraging the Company's datalake and dashboard visualization tools Take on antiquated business processes and reports and develop into new streamlined product and process workflows through automation, ML and RPA Key contributor to ERP implementation/startup Key contributor to enhancing Marketing contract administration processes and procedures Identify and solve weaknesses within the business unit through technical solutions Explore new ways to increase digital outcomes, driving revenue and decreasing risks Improve business processes throughout the assigned business unit Participate and lead small to medium projects to successful completion Work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Accounting and Operations personnel to ensure congruency with Company's ongoing digital transformation Design solutions using existing and new technologies Utilize risk management in all activities to ensure success Balance multiple deadlines and prioritize key deliverables Solve technical problems and recommend solutions Provide training to employees Provide expert advice and assistance on operating problems relating to area of expertise EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

years of extensive Oil and Gas analytical experience Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent background or experience; Related Master's degree High technical aptitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capable of accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision Generating PowerBi and Spotfire reports and dashboards a plus Basic understanding of pipeline nominations or crude or gas scheduling a plus Performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques Experience with ERP systems Detail-oriented and relentless, willing to find cracks in the system to expose problems Work closely with other team members to optimize field development strategy and maximize value within the business unit Ability to work in a highly-functioning team atmosphere and fast paced environment with multiple on-going projects Must be able to work collaboratively in large, multi-disciplinary teams Highly organized, results oriented, not afraid to think differently, speak out and have a willingness to learn Strategic thinker with exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity to identify information and resources needed to complete tasks Must have demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly to work effectively with others, and to utilize technical knowledge to achieve practical results Innovative self-starter Situationally flexible, influential and assertive when required Able to make great decisions during uncertainty without excessive analysis Proven ability to accomplish tremendous amounts of work that translates into exceptional outcomes Ability to envision next level ideas and challenge existing assumptions at all levels of the organization Ability to embrace failure as a step towards success, admit your errors and move forward COMPENSATION:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is primarily an office position where work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited.
Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of a normal office environment.
No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level.
Work may require occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying 20-pound objects such as files, documents, boxes, etc.
Work involves sitting most of the time but may involve standing and walking for brief periods.
Travel to other office sites/locations is required occasionally.
