Summary:
Performs audits of Benefit entries and enrollments in ERP system and employee benefits carrier/vendor records.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
CPA, preferred.
Work
Experience:
Minimum 3 years related experience with financial analysis.
Benefits experience, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to develop and utilize spreadsheets with experience using Excel.
Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Nuance PDF, preferred.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
High customer service orientation utilizing tact and diplomacy in interactions with employees and leadership.
Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.
Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of numerical data.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Reviews and audits bi-weekly and monthly benefit entries and enrollments in ERP system and third-party benefits carriers/vendors in a timely manner based on established deadlines.
Resolves all discrepancies with appropriate personnel.
Identifies, researches, resolves, and reconciles all discrepancies to ensure proper posting in ERP system and third-party vendor/carrier systems.
Assists with analyzing participation, utilization, and cost of benefit programs.
Participates and summarizes survey data to monitor trends and provide metrics for benchmarking.
Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations.
Compiles and provides data for compliance of benefits administration with federal and state laws, including IRS and Department of Labor regulations (e.
g.
Form 5500s, COBRA, etc.
).
Assists with developing, updating, and distributing benefit plan communications, mandated plan documents, and disclosures to participants in a timely manner (e.
g.
summary plan descriptions, summary annual reports, etc.
).
Assists with budget preparation, audit, and year-end projects based on established deadlines.
Performs analytical review of financial data.
Manage special projects as needed.
Decision Making:
Independent judgment in planning sequence of operations and making minor decisions in a complex technical or professional field.
Working Relationships:
Works with internal/external customers, employees, and third-party vendors via telephone, email, and face to face interaction.
Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
Special Job Dimensions:
Occasional travel required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
