Job Description:
The Specialist, Systems Engineering will perform design and development of System Architectures utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering.
Develop system and subsystem level requirements, perform traceability methods and purpose, engineering trade study processes and system test activities including test planning, conducting tests and reporting.
Contribute to and present technical data during customer design reviews.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Essential Functions:
Background in systems engineering or software engineering Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes Test Procedure development experience Hardware/Software communications interfacing experience Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance which requires U.

Citizenship
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering and 4 years' experience, OR, Master's Degree in Science or Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience Minimum 4 years experience in systems engineering to include requirements development.
