Summary:
Responsible for assuring appearance of units, both interior and exterior, to meet or exceed company standards.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.
1. Performs cleaning and other appearance maintenance duties of tractors and
trailers.
2. Maintains a neat and orderly working area and properly handle company tools.
3. May be required to inventory, bag, report and store driver's personal items.
4. Advises the Shop Leadman/Foreman if additional repair work is needed.
5. Follows safety practices and shop regulations.
6. Completes paperwork as required to accurately document the work performed
on customer's vehicles.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
1. Ability to learn how to operate pressure washing system.
2. Physical requirements include:
Near & midrange vision
Hearing
Ability to work alone and under stress.
Walking, bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting and
reaching.
Lifting 50 pounds or more, sometimes shoulder height and above.
Using hands, wrists, elbows and shoulder for repetitive motion tasks.
Ability to work in seasonal heat and cold; amidst noise, water and dust.
3. Valid license required, CDL preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
