Summary:
Responsible for the routine cleaning task of a specifically assigned area by scouring,scrubbing,dusting,mopping, vacuuming, polishing and buffing.
Works under supervision of a department supervisor, performs a variety of routine cleaning tasks. Maintains assigned work area and equipment in an orderly and sanitary condition at all times.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Knowledge/Skills:
No experience is required for on the job training is given
Must have effective oral/written communication skills.
Possess ability to maintain effective working relations with the public and have the ability to operate housekeeping equipment when necessary.
Hours/Days of work:
Routine shifts: Eight hours
Hours and days off may vary
Week-end rotation required
May be required to work holidays
Overtime/Rotation of shifts may be required.
