Mission:
Assists with US tax compliance, global provision, and with developing best-in-class processes to efficiently address TDWs tax compliance, provision and examination needs.
Accountabilities:
Runs and maintains tax (e.g., depreciation) and GL reports for State and Federal tax filings and for estimated tax payments to shareholders.
Prepares detailed tax calculations and Schedule M adjustments for Federal returns.
Shepherds information collection process and prepare State tax apportionment schedules.
Creates and runs reports by legal entity and by sub-consolidation level to compile consolidated tax provision.
Maintains and monitors tax policies on proper use of accounts, M&E, non-deductible items, and tax accounts.
Coordinates with outside vendors to collect and provide information to support the quarterly.
Sends, receives, and organizes information from foreign subsidiaries for annual tax compliance.
Assists with detailed calculations to support foreign data included in US tax returns.
Prepares state tax returns.
Implements, maintains, and leverages tax software products including OneSource and FAS.
Collects foreign tax returns, tax support and local financials for each subsidiary throughout the year to validate tax payments, tax refunds, deferred and permanent differences.
Tracks and collects foreign tax audit support and results.
Creates processes for and runs detailed calculations for US Sub F inclusions.
Collects, processes, and monitors US property tax filings and audits.
Addresses day-to-day sales, use and GST tax questions and collects information to support ongoing (and routine) sales tax audits.
Coordinates, prepares, and files requests for IRS certifications to support foreign tax treaty claims.
Prepares companys annual transfer pricing reports on intercompany transactions.
Prepares and maintains annual FBAR filings.
Creates PowerPoints for tax meetings and tax planning.
Maintains MS SharePoint site as a means to disseminate and collect information.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelors in accounting related discipline required.
CPA license preferred.

years of tax experience at a public accounting firm or mid-to-large size corporate tax department.
Knowledge of sales and use tax rules, practices and reporting requirements.
Working knowledge of federal and state income taxes for C and S corporations.
Experience implementing, maintaining and leveraging tax software products similar to OneSource & FAS.
Experience with designing reports to extract information from financial systems, such as Hyperion or Microsofts AX (Axapta).
Tax project and process management skills.
Advanced skills in MS Excel.
Ability to effectively meet deadlines in a team environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
