Mission:
Will be responsible for the daily and monthly costing/closing cycle for the Tulsa Manufacturing Plant. Will be responsible for accurate product costing and inventory valuation. Prepares cost analyses and departmental budget to actual analyses. Reviews monthly manufacturing variances and labor rates. Assists Manufacturing Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis, creating financial models and supporting management for internal reporting.
Accountabilities:
Assists Operations in establishing accurate product costs, studies product manufacturing processes, develops effective costing procedures.
Ensures accurate recording of costs for financial purposes and does a thorough analysis of variances from standard cost.
Monitors the inventory cycle count process to ensure accuracy levels are adequate.
Works with the product development team on costing for new products.
Assists Manufacturing Finance Manager and Accounting Manager in monthly review of financial information, job close, NCR Vendor Credit Activities.
Assists Manufacturing Finance Manager and Accounting Manager with year-end activities including year-end cost roll and LIFO process.
Assists Manufacturing Finance and Accounting Manager in preparing and reporting plant performance metrics.
Prepares monthly account reconciliations for TMP balance sheet accounts.
Assists Manufacturing Finance and Accounting Manager with the annual budgeting process in association with the FP&A team.
Assists in preparation of year end audit schedules for external auditors.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manufacturing Finance Manager, Accounting Manager or the Business Unit Controller.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. (CPA or CMA preferred but not required)
5-10 Years of accounting/manufacturing experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Excel and Word capability at the intermediate level or beyond. Cognos/TM1 experience helpful, but not required. ERP Systems experience preferred.
Travel requirements should be minimal.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
