Our client is looking for an experienced territory Acount Manager/Sales Engineer to add to their growing team. This position will be responsible for the territory from Dallas TX to Kansas City MO and requires 50%-75% travel. Candidates should have a bachelors degree in an engineering or technical discipline, a minimum of 2 years technical sales experience, and be familiar with the commercial coatings/printing industry. Responsibilities for the Account Manager
Generate sales within an assigned territory
Accountable for achieving established sales target by seeking out new customers and maintaining productive working relationships with existing customers.
Consults with potential coating services customers drawing upon engineering skills and experience to make complex engineering and economic decisions to demonstrate the practical value of the product (e.g., decreased cost and increased quality and productivity).
Develops plans for each account, incorporating fully developed customer needs, including long and short term goals and tactics; determines pricing and maximizes revenue.
Thoroughly understands and communicates the Coating Service Agreements regarding terms and conditions, liability issues and compensation on commercial issues.
In the process of doing business with the customers, develops knowledge and collects data on the account's business, products, processes, growth opportunities and customers, to better understand general market and specific customer needs.
Maintains good coordination and communication with other sales groups, and functional groups, such as marketing, customer service, production, engineering, logistics, law and others, to ensure the account strategies are aligned with the available resources and market objectives.
Requirements for the Account Manager
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical), Chemistry or Sciences (Paper, Plastic, Print);

years' Sales or Technical Sales experience

years' Engineering, Chemistry or Sciences (Paper, Plastic, Print) experience
Client is looking for a candidate that is not bound by a current non-compete with present employer.
Strong Computer (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), CRM and Internet Research Skills
Experience with Flexographic, Offset or Gravure Printing industry preferred
Familiarity with Thermal Spray Coatings preferred
